Our Story

Sardar Trust was established with a heartfelt mission to serve humanity through quality healthcare and education. The journey began in 1994, when the late Sheikh Muhammad Sadiq — a respected businessman and philanthropist — transformed a part of his home in Garhi Shahu, Lahore into a modest eye clinic. What started as a small outpatient facility steadily grew into Sardar Trust Eye Hospital, a full-fledged institution dedicated to restoring vision and hope for thousands, regardless of financial status.

Rooted in a legacy of compassion, the Trust has expanded its reach over the years. Recognizing the need for professional training in healthcare, the Sardar Institute of Health Sciences was established to educate and empower the next generation of medical professionals with skills and values grounded in service.

Today, Sardar Trust stands as a symbol of continuity — a bridge between the founder’s vision and a future built on inclusion, quality, and dignity. Guided by a committed Board of Trustees and supported by dedicated professionals and generous donors, Sardar Trust continues to grow its network of impact, ensuring that health and education remain a right, not a privilege.
